  • Search for a Powerful Source of The Light.
  • Interact with the Shadowy Figure.

As a last reassuring step, communicating with the Shadowy Figure that spawns next to you is how you will learn the Void-Touched recipes as a reward for a job well done. Make sure to select the "Fine, show me. If only to stop your prattling." dialogue option, as the other one will lock you out of learning the recipes.

HOW CAN YOU USE SHARD OF THE VOID?

Void-Touched items are Epic Gear you can create through the Tailoring, Blacksmithing, and Leatherworking professions in World of Warcraft Season of Discovery.
